Casa de los Azulejos Spiral Notebook
$24.50
This photo was taken at the Casa De Los Azulejos (The House of Tiles), where it's worth spending a couple of hours having a cup of coffee.
Covered with ceramic tiles, this 18th century baroque Mexico City palace was built by the Count of the Valle de Orizaba family. Legend has it that the son of this family was such a big partier that his father told him he'd never amount to anything, not even making a tile house. The son, who had decided he would show his father, eventually built the House of Tiles.
Now, it is a lively Sanborn's cafe in the heart of the city where you can hang out and listen to piano music while taking in the beautiful architecture.
